It is nothing more than a multi-hour ski touring trip with a long distance, elevation gain and a lot of impressions. The essence of ski touring.

Accomodation

In shelters, overnight stays in rooms with bedding. We will sleep in the shelter at Polana Chochołowska, the shelter at Hala Ornak, the Mountain Hotel Kalatówki and the Murowaniec shelter. Shared bathrooms.

RISK OF TRAVELING THE POLISH TATRA MOUNTAINS

Planned trips are difficult and demanding. The entire route can be completed with a strong group and in good conditions. Each application for participation will be verified by us. However, if safety conditions require it, the guide has the right to change the tour route.

The Tatra Mountains Traverse is aimed at people with:

• Excellent condition – climbs 1,000 meters of elevation at a steady pace along a 6 km route in less than 3.5 hours and is able to maintain a similar pace, increasing the amount of elevation to 1,400 meters and cover a similarly long distance on subsequent days.
• Very good skiers who slide smoothly and dynamically down the prepared black slope (including steep and narrow sections). They have intermediate experience in downhill off-piste, i.e. they can slide smoothly and dynamically without falls in various snow conditions in open (wide) terrain with an inclination of up to 35 degrees and in forests and gullies with an inclination of up to 25 degrees.
• They are advanced ski tourers, they have done many ski tours, they are very good at making turns even in steeper sections of the slope, very good knowledge of avalanche ABC (e.g. completing an avalanche course) and good knowledge of using crampons and an ice ax are required.

Day 1:

• Meeting in the morning at the entrance of the Chochołowska Valley Reaching the shelter at 1100m, about 1.5 to 2 hours. We leave some of our luggage in the shelter and go for reconnaissance.
  Chocholowska 1100 m – Grześ 1653m – Rakoń 1879m – descent to the shelter in Chochołowska: 1000 m ascent, 700 m descent, 4 hours

Day 2:

• Chochołowska Valley 1100m – Starorobociański Wierch 2179m – Kościeliska Valley, Ornak shelter 1100 m: 1100 m ascent, 1100 m descent, 7 hours

Day 3:

• Schronisko Ornak 1100m – Ciemniak 2096 m – Krzesanica 2122 – MałoŁączniak 2096 m – Kopa Kondracka 2005m – Hotel Górski Kalatówki 1330 m: 1600 m ascent, 700 m descent, 7 hours

Dzień 4:

• Kalatówki – Kasprowy Wierch 1985 m – Świnicka Przełęcz 2051 m – descent to Dolina 1600 m – Przełęcz Karb 1853 m – Murowaniec shelter 1500 m: 1100 m ascent, 700 m descent, 6 hours

Dzień 5:

• Murowaniec 1500m – Zawrat Pass 2158 m – Dolina 5 Stawów 1800 m – Szpiglasowa Przełęcz 2110 m – Morskie Oko 1410 m: 1000 m ascent, 1150 m descent, 7 hours

• Free cancellation and refund of the first installment is due in case of cancellation up to 30 days before the start of ski touring training, at no cost and regardless of the reason,
• If you cancel less than 30 days before the start date of the ski touring camp, we are not obliged to refund the first installment,
• If you cancel less than 20 days before the training start date, we are not obliged to return the second installment.
